The SCA is an international organization dedicated to researching and re-creating the arts and skills of pre-17th-century Europe. Our "Known World" consists of 19 kingdoms, with over 30,000 members residing in countries around the world. Members, dressed in clothing of the Middle Ages and Renaissance, attend events which feature tournaments, archery, royal courts, feasts, dancing, classes & workshops, and more.

The Canton of Swampkeype, a sub-group of the Barony of Darkwater, is located in Central Florida, encompassing Osceola County. We are one of two active cantons in the Barony of Darkwater which is part of the Kingdom of Trimaris. The Kingdom of Trimaris is composed of the State of Florida, from approximately Tallahassee eastward to the Atlantic Ocean and all of the peninsula, Antarctica, and the Panama Canal Zone.

You do not have to live in Swampkeype to attend meetings and events in Swampkeype or in any other area.
